The security of the software is regulated in different parts. A user has to login with a password and only is allowed access to those parts of the application that correspond with his role and rank within the club.  Within the TDC software a user will be given rights based upon his role, function and level of rank within the organization. A trainer cannot have access in the database of the doctor and a trainer of a lower team cannot have access to the data of the trainer of a higher team.    

The database is encrypted. When the system is installed on a laptop and this laptop is stolen, a none-authorized user cannot have access to the database and all the saved data, because of the encryption. 

Users can work offline and the moment that a connection is made with the central server through a secured connection (VPN), the data of both computers will be synchronized.
